Future Students

Open Day

Open Day was held on Saturday 1 September, 2007. Open Day 2008 will be held in September. Open Day provides information on Macquarie University degrees and courses as well as activities for prospective students, their families, Macquarie alumni and the community.

The main focus of Open Day is, of course, providing academic advice to future students, and staff will be available to answer questions about undergraduate study programs offered at Macquarie. For expert academic advice on choosing your course, considering other pathways, upgrading your skills and qualifications or learning more about a long-standing area of interest, make sure you visit our North Ryde campus on the day.

As well as individual academic advising and a program of lectures on undergraduate programs and degrees, all of the University's museums and cultural collections are open, and there are activities organized for the whole family.

Many of the University's departments offer tours and interactive demonstrations to give a real insight into studying at Macquarie. Other Macquarie institutions, including the Library, the SAM Building, the Co-Op Bookshop, and the Residential Colleges, are open for inspection and there is plenty to eat and drink around the campus.
