Whether you’re driving, riding, walking or catching public transport, Macquarie University is easily accessible.
Macquarie University is about to get lot more accessible with the opening of its own train station planned for 2008. Catching a bus or train (or both) from wherever you are in Sydney is easy. To find out which bus service is best for you or to plan your route and timetable, just look up the transport timetable on our general timetables page.
If you’re driving, it’s best to know where to park when you get there, the carparks at Macquarie can be found on this map and you’re best off applying for a periodical entry permit available from the Student Centre. Casual or short term entry permits are available from ticket dispensing machines near the two main entrances and other identified car parks within the campus.
But remember, there’s no kerb parking at the uni, you have to go to the car parks, unless you want a hefty fine.
