The Area of Study

A combined Bachelor of Science with Bachelor of Arts in Natural and Cultural Heritage and Museums# combines natural histories, early civilisations, anthropology, early childhood and cultural heritage.

The program of study includes specialty areas for which Macquarie University has a high reputation: ancient history, Australian history, palaeontology, biology, geology, geography, early childhood,
anthropology, cultural studies and Indigenous studies.

No other university in Australia offers such an undergraduate program. This interdisciplinary degree is designed so students will graduate with majors in at least three areas of study from either history, palaeontology, human geography, Indigenous studies, biology, geology, anthropology, cultural studies or early childhood as well as a modern and substantial background in the field of museum studies.
