How to Enrol

If you receive an offer to Macquarie University you should follow the instructions you receive with your Offer letter.

As a new student, it can take you some time to complete each step in the enrolment process on enrolment day at the University. It is in your best interest before enrolment day to familiarise yourself with the procedures and with the kinds of decisions you will be required to make about your program of study.

During this preparation be certain you understand your needs, your interests and career directions and your particular abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Since finances, jobs and family commitments can influence your time and commitment, consider these carefully also prior to enrolment so you can choose the most appropriate program of study.

First year undergraduate students (or their proxy) are required to come to the campus for compulsory academic advising. After receiving advice, students will be able to enrol online. Proxies will have staff members available to assist them with the enrolment.

If students are unable to attend their enrolment session they must inform the University of their intention to accept the offer, and request attendance at a late enrolment session.
