How to Apply

The first thing you need to do is choose what program you want to study at Macquarie University. Once you have decided you should understand that an offer for admission is based on academic merit. If you can’t prove previous academic results, or if your results are not sufficient, you can consider other alternative pathways.

For local applicants, application information is available on the Undergraduate Studies site on the page for admissions information.  International students should visit Macquarie International for their information.

For admission based on academic merit you should place an application with the University Admissions Centre, and all details and procedures are available on the Undergraduate Studies site.

The UAC 2008 Guide is a very useful document which contains lots of information and the application form. It’s available from the University Co-op Bookshop, UAC, large newsagencies, high schools or TAFEs, but most Year 12 students will receive a UAC 2008 Guide from their school.

If you’re successful in your application, you'll receive an offer to study at Macquarie University. The Undergraduate Studies section: Accepting Macquarie University Offer Of Enrolment provide a step by step approach to accepting your offer.

Remember, if you have any specific admission queries, contact the Macquarie University Undergraduate Studies section.
